DJM-REC is an app for DJs which enables easy recording and sharing of mixes for effortless self-promotion to global audiences when you connect it with compatible AlphaTheta DJ mixers* via a USB cable.

You can download the app for free from the App store and try paid features free for 30 days.

^* To use DJM-REC with our digital send-return equipped DJ mixers (i.e. the DJM-V10, DJM-V10-LF, DJM-V5, DJM-A9, DJM-900NXS2, DJM-750MK2 and DJM-450), update the firmware via our support page.

Simple connection

Install DJM-REC on your iPhone or iPad, then simply plug your device into any DJM mixer featuring digital send/return using a single USB cable to live stream or record. The port is on the top of the mixer rather than the back, so connecting is a breeze even in a smoky club.

High-quality live streaming and recording

Control the peak limiter in your DJM mixer via the app and alleviate digital clipping with the tap of a button. Live stream or record audio from a digital mixer directly into digital format, eliminating the need for analogue conversion.

Easy live-streaming

Effortlessly live-stream your mix to Mixcloud Live, Restream, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram or Snapchat.

Display information about the tracks you play in your stream

By using any of the CDJ-3000, CDJ-3000X, or CDJ-1500X DJ players with the DJM-A9, DJM-V10, DJM-V5, or DJM-V10-LF mixer, you can now display the title and artist name of the track that's currently playing during your live stream. By simply connecting to DJM-REC without any other application needed, track information can be easily incorporated into live streaming, further deepening the connection with the audience, and enhancing the live stream experience.

Easy sharing

Easily upload your recordings to cloud services such as Mixcloud, SoundCloud, and Dropbox.

Auto time-stamp

Editable track time-stamps are automatically created thanks to the fader information transmitted from the DJM mixer to the app, making track-list creation simple.

And, if you use any of the CDJ-3000, CDJ-3000X, or CDJ-1500X DJ players with the DJM-A9, DJM-V10, DJM-V5, or DJM-V10-LF mixer, you can also record track titles and artist names.

Easily correct recordings

Refresh old tracks with powerful club-standard sound that can be easily remastered. Swipe the Loudness slider on DJM-REC to increase audio pressure and smoothly adjust the Sub Bass slider to create punchy, heavy, vibrant bass sounds.

Playback
Recorded sound on your iPhone or iPad can be input into DJM series mixers using the digital send/return feature.
Record analogue
Analogue recording while your device isn’t connected to a mixer is simple using an external microphone with the iPhone or iPad’s microphone function.
