CDJ-3000 firmware ver. 3.30 – important notice

We’d like to apologize for the confusion and concern caused by the release of the CDJ-3000 firmware version 3.30 on October 21, 2025.

Some users experienced an issue during the transition from Device Library to OneLibrary, where older versions of rekordbox were used to export libraries to USB drives. In certain situations, tracks or playlists didn’t display on the CDJ-3000 but, importantly, no music or data was deleted. To prevent further confusion, we temporarily withdrew the firmware.

We recognize that the transition may have caused inconvenience or concern, and we take that feedback seriously.

We’re currently reviewing the specifications of Device Library and OneLibrary so we can deliver a simpler, clearer, and more reliable user experience.

While the resolution will need more time, we’ll keep working on this and will share details about our next steps as soon as possible.

For now, the CDJ-3000 has reverted to using the Device Library format, and no OneLibrary preparation is needed.

However, for OneLibrary compatible products such as the CDJ-3000X, OPUS-QUAD, OMNIS-DUO, and XDJ-AZ, USB export using the OneLibrary format is needed. If you use these products, please ensure you’re using the latest version of rekordbox and refer to the guide below for instructions on migrating from Device Library to OneLibrary, as well as the USB export process.

Rest assured that we remain committed to ensuring that all DJs can enjoy a seamless and reliable experience, regardless of the library format they use.
