Important Notice Regarding CDJ-3000: Request for Updating the Firmware
Thank you for your continued support of our products.
We have identified potential issues with certain CDJ-3000 units manufactured after August 2024, which may include no audio output, screen blackout, or system freeze.
These issues can be resolved by updating the firmware to version 3.17 or later.
Affected Products
Professional DJ Multi Player "CDJ-3000"
Affected Serial Numbers
Products with serial numbers starting with the following prefixes are affected: DH, DI, DJ, DK
Please note: Units with a green sticker near the serial number label on the product or packaging are not affected by these issues.
Serial Label Location
- On the product: Located on the bottom surface.
- On the packaging: Located on the side panel.
How to Check the Serial Number on the CDJ-3000's Screen
- Turn on the power.
- Press and hold the [MENU/UTILITY] button to open the [UTILITY] screen.
- Rotate the rotary selector to select [INFO]. The [SERIAL No.] will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
- Press the [MENU/UTILITY] button again to close the [UTILITY] screen.
What you need to do:
- Check Your Unit: If your CDJ-3000’s serial number starts with DH, DI, DJ, or DK, your unit may require an update.
- Units with a green sticker near the serial number are already up-todate.
- Update the Firmware:
- Download the latest firmware here.
- Follow the instructions in the Firmware Update Guide to complete the
process.
