Even a pandemic can’t hold a good DJ down. So, we recently asked a selection of incredibly talented open-format DJs to collaborate remotely on a special remix.

No fewer than 10 turntablists, working in 6 different countries, joined in the project using audio stems from energetic funk-soul track, “Say the Word”, by DJ and producer duo The Allergies.

The DJs all used the new performance features on our flagship DJM-S11 professional 2-channel battle mixer to create an awe-inspiring, 10-way remix.

Now, it’s your turn to “Say the Word”

Feeling inspired? You’ve seen the pros do it, now we want you to get creative with the same track.

We’ve teamed up with The Allergies and Jalapeno Records to provide the instrumental and a cappella stems for “Say the Word’, so you can come up with your own performance.

Follow the steps below to send us your live remix of the track for the chance to have it shared with thousands of battle music fans via the official Pioneer DJ social media channels, and the socials of the 10 DJs who participated in our live remix project.

1. Download the instrumental and a cappella stems from The Allergies’ Bandcamp page for free, anytime before 8 May 2021.
2. Using the stems, create a 60-second routine of your own using one of our scratch-style mixers (DJM-S11, DJM-S9, DJM-S7, DJM-S3), or any Pioneer DJ product.
3. Share a video of your performance with the hashtag #SayTheWordPioneerDJ and tag @pioneerdjglobal for a chance to see your routine shared to thousands of music fans on our official Pioneer DJ socials and artist socials.
