Walking us through the steps he took to make his track ‘Five,’ the Bulgarian beat architect – real name Strahil Velchev – shows us how he selected the five-note sequence after which the song was named.
He then gives the pitch a “disturbing” twist and adds a metallic, rough edge via modulation and filters.
