TRAKTOR PRO 2 is now compatible with the USB-HID control feature of the CDJ-TOUR1, and TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 is now compatible with the DVS feature of the DJM-TOUR1, DJM-750MK2, DJM-450 and DJM-250MK2 DJ mixers. This all comes under the Pioneer DJ Certification Program, an initiative to evaluate products from other companies and certify them as compatible with our DJ gear so you know you can use them together with confidence.

Since we introduced TRAKTOR PRO 2 and TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 support for our flagship CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 in October 2016, many club DJs have commented on how its seamless compatibility enables them to perform intuitively. The extended support for our latest multi player and DJM mixers means you can use TRAKTOR PRO 2 and TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 anytime, anywhere – from practising at home to playing the biggest club and festival gigs.

A newly released CDJ-2000NXS2 firmware update also brings Beat Jump control and enables the display of enlarged waveform and beatgrid, significantly improving the player’s usability.

Registered users can download the latest version of TRAKTOR PRO 2 to enable USB-HID control with compatible multi players, and download the latest version of TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 to enable DVS control with compatible DJM mixers.

Intuitive control

Simply plug your PC/Mac into the players via USB and control TRAKTOR PRO 2 without the need for a control disc. Intuitively scratch and use performance features including loops, tempo adjustment and play/cue, which are all linked to the software. The Beat Jump, Beat Countdown and Phase Meter features are now available on the display of supported multi players.

Track information on the multi player’s screen

1. Text information: Text information is shown so you can easily select a track using the rotary selector on each multi player.
2. Artwork image: Album cover artwork images are shown so you can use not only track titles, but also a visual reference to select your next track.
3. Waveform display: Instantly view detailed cue and mix points thanks to the newly supported zoomable waveform, Wave Zoom, and visually grasp the overall composition of a track using the high-resolution overall waveform. Waveforms can now be displayed in all four colour schemes that TRAKTOR PRO 2 offers.
4. Beatgrid, cue points and loops display: The beatgrid, cue points and loops are now visible in the waveform on supported multi players.

Use the utility setting tool on your computer to configure the audio routing from the mixer to your preferred mode, such as DJ Performance, Track Recording or Track Creation.

Seamless DJ changeovers using the DJM-TOUR1

Taking over from the DJ before you and handing over to someone else at the end of your set is seamless thanks to the DJM-TOUR1’s dual built-in USB sound cards. Two top-loaded USB ports and input selector switches let you and another DJ connect your computers to the mixer at the same time, so there’s no complicated connection process.
