Another year of dancefloor mayhem at Amsterdam Dance Event is done and dusted. From October 19 to 21, industry professionals, producers, DJs and music-heads joined us at the Vlaams Cultuurhuis De Brakke Grond venue to view the latest product releases while hitting up live DJsounds Shows for a sensory overload.

Performing on the decks, we had the privilege of hearing the latest sounds from Roger Sanchez, KiNK, Honey Dijon, DANNIC, Wally Lopez and Ferry Corsten, plus DJ SNEAK and Jeremy Olander. We also heard a set by the first recipient of the Pioneer DJ & Point Blank Accelerator Programme, Gabby Gunn, along with a stunning performance by the Red Bull 3Style winner; DJ 69Beats, bringing some unique live sequences on the new DDJ-XP1.

Despite the new DJS-1000 sampler only just reaching the hands of Gorgon City they rocked up and delivered a highly crowd-pleasing workout of the new sampler, integrating into the NXS2 setup. Attendees could see it in the flesh, too, along with the totally re-engineered new HDJ-X range of pro DJ headphones.

With bird's-eye views of sets via Facebook live, all of these shows were streamed live around the world… and as one of our US friends commented, it was a pretty full-on experience over breakfast!
