Today, May 7th, 2018, Pioneer Corporation (hereinafter “Pioneer”) have announced that it has signed a contract to transfer the plant owned by Pioneer Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (hereinafter “Pioneer Technology Malaysia”), its subsidiary, to VTech Communications Limited, a subsidiary of VTech Holdings Limited (hereinafter “VTech”). The closing date will be scheduled between July to September, 2018. Our reliable outsourcing factory will be transferred to VTech, but Pioneer DJ Corporation have confirmed with Pioneer that MPT will maintain its current relationship (outsourcing factory) with Pioneer DJ Corporation after the sale.
