Pioneer DJ announces change in its board of directors
The structure of Pioneer DJ Corporation’s board of directors has changed. Yoshiaki Ide has been appointed Chairman of the company, while Akio Moriwaki steps into the role of President and CEO.
In his new role as Chairman, Yoshiaki Ide will continue to create new business opportunities and external alliances to strengthen the Pioneer DJ Corporation as a company and a brand.
Pioneer DJ’s new CEO, Akio Moriwaki has a wealth of music retail knowledge, with over 30 years’ industry experience including several years serving as President of Tower Records Japan. In his new role with Pioneer DJ Corporation, he will manage the company’s general operation with a focus on developing products and services that meet customers’ current and future needs.
The new Pioneer DJ management structure is as follows:
