Start From Scratch has been created to support minoritised and underrepresented communities. Our goal is to create a safe and productive space to nurture talent from these communities.
Pioneer DJ have a commitment to making sure that there is increased diversity within our industry. We know from research that targeted events like these help close the gap.
Our first Start From Scratch series of 2023 will be supporting the LGBTQIA+ community via free DJ, Scratch and music production workshops across Europe.
Free workshops give people the chance to learn the basics of DJing, improve their skills and gain insight to Schools. Be sure to check out the Events page to see where your closest session is.

All DJing starts by getting hands-on with the equipment. No experience is needed, just a passion for DJing and music, these free-of-charge workshops are your opportunity to start your DJing journey here, with us.

The learning doesn't stop at the workshop! Keep an eye out for further community events under Start From Scratch to engage with other like-minded persons to share passions and skills. All workshop attendees will also receive a free 3-month license to the online educational platform Virtuoso. Giving you the chance to keep on crafting.

Those who go through our opportunities programme will get the opportunity to play out for the first time in a Start From Scratch club-style event to introduce them as a new artist to the world and truly begin their journey.
