XDJ-1000: software & firmware updates

This firmware is a system software program for your DJ PLAYER.
Please update the firmware to the latest version to enhance the product's performance.

Please read Firmware Update Guide to check the firmware version of your DJ PLAYER and how to update thefirmware.

• Track playback speed sometimes did not return to the BPM displayed on the screen when Sync is enabled.
• A popping noise occurred during a LOOP with QUANTIZE and MASTER TEMPO enabled.
• A HOT CUE started after jumping to the LOOP-IN point when changing a LOOP BEAT LENGTH with QUANTIZE enabled.

For connecting multiple players to a Mac, as well as designating them as audio output device targets for your supporting DJ software, you will first need to set up an aggregated device.
This can normally be accomplished by using Audio MIDI Setup, a utility which comes bundled with Mac OS X.
We have provided an alternative program called CDJ/XDJ Aggregator, which simplifies this procedure to a single click.

Please also download the instruction manual and read through it before installing the tool software.

This tool is not necessary for Windows users because Windows CDJ/XDJ drivers support audio output to multiple players.

Please be sure to install and use the Windows drivers corresponding to your player.

AUDIO DRIVER FOR WINDOWS

These drivers will allow you to connect your CDJ / XDJ to a computer.
Please read the Manual for the installation procedure.

This driver software is support Windows10 only(Not support Windows 8.1).

Mac OS users:
You don't have to install this driver software. Mac OS standard driver will be automatically installed when your CDJ/XDJ is connected to your Mac with a USB cable.

This section describes the necessary information when you use your XDJ-1000 with TRAKTOR.

The XDJ-1000 has a computer control mode which enables you to control TRAKTOR PRO 2 by connecting your computer with a USB cable.

If you don't own TRAKTOR PRO 2 software, please visit the Native Instruments website for more information.

The internal USB soundcard allows you to use the XDJ-1000 as an audio output device for TRAKTOR PRO 2.

Before using the XDJ as a TRAKTOR PRO 2 controller:

• Update the firmware to the latest version (Ver.1.04 or later)
• Ensure that TRAKTOR PRO 2 is updated to Ver.2.8.1
• The XDJ works with the standard driver software installed on your computer (Windows/Mac OS)
• To set up your XDJ-1000 with TRAKTOR PRO 2, please read the Connection Guide (June, 2015)

Before using the XDJ as a TRAKTOR PRO 2 Audio Output Device:

• Update the firmware to the latest version (Ver.1.04 or later)
• Ensure that TRAKTOR PRO 2 is updated to Ver.2.8.1
• The XDJ works with the standard driver software installed on your Mac. Windows users need to install the provided driver software (Ver.1.000 or later)
• To set up your XDJ-1000 with TRAKTOR PRO 2, please read the Connection Guide (June, 2015)
