This section describes necessary information when you use your CDJ-900NXS with Serato DJ Pro.

CDJ-900NXS is a certified USB controller for Serato DJ Pro from Serato. CDJ-900NXS has a computer control mode. That mode enables the CDJ-900NXS to control Serato DJ Pro by connecting your computer with a USB cable.

The internal USB sound card does not work as Serato DJ Pro's audio output device. You need to use an audio output device comes with Serato DJ Pro or a mixer that equips an audio output device for Serato DJ Pro.

Using the CDJ as a Serato DJ Pro Controller

You can control Serato DJ Pro from the CDJ-900NXS.

  By using the standard driver software installed in OS, CDJ works only connecting a computer with a USB cable.

Serato DJ Intro and Serato DJ have been renamed and are now known as Serato DJ Lite and Serato DJ Pro, respectively.
If you currently use Serato DJ, you can continue to use Serato DJ Pro for free.

This section describes necessary information when you use your CDJ-900NXS with TRAKTOR Series. The CDJ-900NXS equips a computer control mode.
That mode enables the CDJ-900NXS to control TRAKTOR Series by connecting your computer with a USB cable.
The CDJ-900NXS equips an internal USB sound card. So you can use this sound card as an audio output device for TRAKTOR Series.
