List of MIDI Messages

DJM-S11 works with other MIDI-compatible software besides Serato DJ Pro, by assigning MIDI message. Please refer to the list of MIDI message to find mapping values of all buttons and knobs. To assign MIDI message to all software function, please refer to your manufacturers' software manual.

When using this unit as a controller for operating MIDI-compatible software other than Serato DJ Pro, change the setting to use software other than Serato DJ Pro at the utility settings. For details, please refer to the "Using DJ software other than Serato DJ Pro" within Operating Instructions.

Please do not run multiple DJ Software on your computer at the same time. When switching from one DJ software to use another, please turn the DJM-S11 power off and then power back on after software switch has been completed.

For further details of the usage, please refer to the software manufacturers.

This section describes necessary information when you use your DJM-S11 with "rekordbox".

DJM-S11 has a computer control mode.
That mode enables the DJM-S11 to control rekordbox by connecting your computer with a USB cable.
The DJM-S11 equips an internal USB sound card. So you can use this sound card as an audio output device for rekordbox.

• Operation is not guaranteed on all computers, even if all the required operating environment conditions indicated here are fulfilled.
• Depending on the computer’s power-saving settings, etc., the CPU and hard disk may not provide sufficient processing capabilities. For laptop in particular, make sure the computer is in the proper conditions to provide constant high performance (for example by keeping the AC power connected) when using rekordbox.

When you first launch Serato DJ Pro, a [BUY/ACTIVATE] icon may be displayed in the Online panel. Those who use DJM-S11 do not have to activate the unit or buy the license. If you connect DJM-S11 to Serato DJ Pro, you can use the software without buying the license or activating the unit.
