Marketing Manager

  • Torrance, CA (Remote until safe to return to office.)
  • Overview

    The Marketing Manager drives the development, implementation and execution of marketing strategies and activities which support achievement of sales. This position will collaborate with cross-functional groups, both global and local, and with partners and vendors.

    Your role

    Manage the marketing team to develop an integrated marketing plan. This includes traditional brand marketing, social media and digital marketing activities such as email, website, channel ads, local and national events, influencer campaigns, etc. for new product introductions, seasonal promotions, etc. with the goal of growing sales and continually strengthening the brand.

    • Collaborates with the global team to develop the best approach for global projects.
    • Combine the strategies of our internal team and external partners while blending in consumer insights to seamlessly market across all channels.
    • Initiates and defines all marketing collateral for each marketing activity and manages all creative development.
    • Develops and manages marketing plan (activity and collateral) calendars, and ensures deadlines are communicated and executed by local, global and cross-functional teams.
    • Updates and maintains marketing collateral, content and tools (SaaS) as needed.
    • Continually analyze the results (including sales results) of marketing plan and make relevant changes if needed.
    • Understands and enforces brand guidelines and legal requirements for all activity and collateral.
    • Screen potential collaborations/partnerships and negotiate to create agreed upon contracts.
    • Assign related duties and manage other marketing personnel.
    • Managing marketing budget allocated to marketing team.
    • Occasionally travel in US to attend events and tradeshow.

    Your profile

    • 10 or more years of marketing experience, and 3 years managing a marketing team.
    • In-depth knowledge of developing a marketing strategy and integrated marketing plan.
    • Experience with digital marketing and project management tools: e.g. Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram ads, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Trello, SmartSheet, Asana, GleamIO.
    • An in-depth understanding of Search, Social, Paid/Display/Native Media, Email, Affiliate and Influencer marketing.
    • Experience analyzing data and taking it to a conclusion as well as managing financials.
    • Organized with strong time management, planning and project execution skills.
    • Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills, proficiency in Excel.
    • Flexible working hours for global projects.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Passionate about music.
    • Thinks both strategically and creatively.
