Marketing Specialist

Your responsibilities

Support of Marketing team's efforts by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials and show-stock inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; preparing various marketing and sales reports and analytics.

Your role

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives from Director; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data and marketing analytics.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Supports sales staff by providing, market trends, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; developing schedules and assignments.
  • Oversee and monitor monthly Policy Cost Forecast. Work with Marketing Director and submit each month policy budget to business planning. Preparation of vendor invoices and submit to accounting.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring new opportunities to grow the market and identify new customer and add value to job accomplishments.

Product Planning Specialist (Contractor)

Overview

We are looking for a Product Planning Specialist to join our team based in Torrance, California. Applicants must be confident behind the decks and in the studio, and passionate about dance music culture. Working closely with our US, European and Japan teams, you will help guide the latest innovations in DJ equipment and software to a discerning global market.

Your role

Testing: conducting rigorous tests on products in development, liaising with DJs to collect feedback, and reporting back to our product planners.

Market Research: conducting surveys and visiting clubs, DJs and approved dealers to understand the industry's needs; feeding back to inform the product planning schedule.

Providing Technical Support: resolving issues and answering questions from internal teams, distrib­utors, clubs and DJs.

Training: leading new product training of internal teams and dealers to help grow demand. Creating internal training material to support marketing and public relations activity.

Travel and Liason: Visiting venues across US and Latin America, as well as occasionally planning and attending global meetings.

Your profile

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about DJ technology, production and dance music.
  • Hold a degree/other qualification in music, technology or media (ideal but not essential).
  • Good presenting and networking skills.
  • Willing to travel globally and work outside of normal office hours.
