DJS-1000 now supports Splice Sounds sample kits and Beatmaker sequences.
We’ve made our DJS-1000 stand-alone DJ sampler compatible with Splice, the cloud-based music production platform used by over 1.6 Million producers. Working in partnership with Splice, the DJS-1000 is the second product we’ve enabled to connect to the extensive sample library Splice Sounds, following the previous integration of our professional sampler for music producers – the TORAIZ SP-16.
Splice Sounds revolutionised sample hunting when it launched in 2015 as the first subscription-based sample library, enabling you to download individual sounds rather than buy entire sample packs. Currently, new samples are released every week from over 90 leading labels, as well as renowned artists.
The new integration seamlessly connects the DJS-1000 to the world’s largest collection of high-quality samples and loops. You can pick your favourite individual samples from the Splice Sounds catalogue of over 2 million sounds from world-class providers, build and save custom sample kits, and programme 32-step sequences on the web and on mobile devices using Beatmaker – Splice’s online sequencer. You can easily export your creations as SCENE files, including sample kits and sequences for the DJS-1000, then import them to project files on the DJS-TSP Project Creator software or the DJS-1000 itself to use them in your performances immediately.
The Project files are compatible with the DJS-1000 and the TORAIZ SP-16, so you can take the music you’ve created in the studio with the TORAIZ SP-16 and play it intuitively on the spot with the DJS-1000 in your DJ and live performances.
Thanks to our collaboration with Splice, and the compatibility of the TORAIZ SP-16 and the DJS-1000 with Splice Sounds, we’ve created a workflow that seamlessly connects the collection and selection of samples to music production, DJing and live performances.
