When I handled the RM-07 speakers for the first time, I was amazed by their weight. I like heavy speakers. It’s important for them to have a solid build because we’re dealing with the resonant frequencies in a lot of detail. I knew the RM-07s wouldn’t bounce around – they’re rocksolid. When I heard them for the first time, their detail really blew my mind. In fact, we’ve had several artists in the studio who’ve been blown away by them.

The unique coaxial driver in the RM-07s, with the tweeter mounted in the centre, makes them totally focused speakers. The bottom end is extremely large and tight, you get very warm, precise detail on the highs and the midrange, plus the stereo imaging is amazing. And because you can see the coaxial horn, you know exactly where to position the RM-07s to get the perfect listening experience. It’s right there in the centre.

These are great speakers for mixing, but also for creating tracks because they’re so honest and detailed. You get much more of the energy that you put in coming right back at you and, especially for the high-end detail, that’s very important.
