XPRS Series Limited Warranty Statement

This document stipulates warranty terms and conditions ("Warranty") for the Active Speaker XPRS Series. Please be sure to read the terms of the Warranty before using your Product.

Pioneer DJ Corporation (PDJ) warrants Active Speaker XPRS Series products purchased from PDJ or PDJ authorized stores in the eligible area listed below (Products) that fail to substantially function under normal conditions of use in accordance with the Products' user manuals, installation manuals and relevant documentation and when used in accordance with any guidelines or instructions contained in the Product manual as well as any warning in the manual or other documentation, or on stickers attached to the Products will be repaired free of charge within the Warranty coverage period stipulated below. Products returned and replaced pursuant to this warranty become the property of PDJ.

This Warranty only applies to Products purchased from PDJ or PDJ authorized stores in the eligible areas listed below. Repair of non-PDJ branded hardware products will apply to the extent determined by applicable law. This Warranty constitutes your sole remedy for failure of the Product to function properly but is in addition to and does not affect your rights under any applicable law.

This Warranty is offered to any person who has legally obtained possession of the Product within the Warranty period.

This express limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied, or statutory, and PDJ expressly disclaims the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In jurisdictions where this disclaimer of implied warranties is not enforceable, PDJ hereby expressly limits the duration of any implied warranties to the duration of the applicable express warranty.

Under no circumstance does a representation or statement made by a PDJ representative to a customer create a warranty.

Warranty Extension eligible parts

When the Warranty Extension applies, we will provide free repair, subject to the terms of this limited Warranty statement, for 5 years from the date of purchase for amplifier parts and 7 years for other parts such as speaker drivers. In exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion as an alternative to repair we reserve the right to replace the Product or replace parts of the Product with new or recycled parts.

Warranty period

The above Warranty period starts from the date you purchased the product from PDJ or a PDJ authorized store. During the period, proof of purchase such as original sales receipt showing the date of purchase is required to receive the free repair service.

Warranty Extension by Product Registration

Those who purchased the eligible Products can register them on the Product Registration page on the PDJ Global Site within 90 days after purchase and can download the XPRS Warranty Extension Certificate from the Product Registration page. To use the free repair service within the extended Warranty period, the following conditions must be met when you submit your Product for repair:

  1. Eligible Products: Your Product must have the same model and serial numbers as written in the XPRS Warranty Extension Certificate.
  2. Proof of Purchase: You must supply the original sales receipt showing the date of Product purchase, store name and Product name.
  3. The XPRS Warranty Extension Certificate: You must supply a printed copy of the XPRS Warranty Extension Certificate downloaded after Product Registration. The date of registration must be within 90 days of purchase.
Warranty Extension for those who purchased the eligible Products in the past

If you purchased the eligible Products by the end of December 2017, you can claim the extended Warranty service by registering the Products at the Product Registration page by the end of March 2018 if all the above Warranty conditions are satisfied, including eligible area.

Limitation of country

Pioneer DJ Warranty service is only available in the country of the Products’ original purchase. Pioneer DJ, its distributors, dealers and authorized service centers are under no obligation to perform Warranty service on Products purchased in another country. Free repair service is only available within the normal or Extended Warranty coverage if the following two conditions are satisfied:

  1. You purchased the Product in the country designated in the list above.
  2. A repair request has been made to our authorized service center in the country in which you purchased the Product.

To the extent that national, state, provincial or territorial law applies in the country of purchase, Pioneer DJ provides the Warranty service required under applicable law.

Circumstances where this Warranty does not apply


This Warranty does not apply in the following situations:

  1. When there is no Warranty card or certificate issued by PDJ or a PDJ authorized store.
  2. When you cannot confirm the date and store of purchase.
  3. Where there are alterations to the Warranty certificate or the certificate issued by PDJ or the PDJ authorized store or the certificate is incomplete, defaced or illegible.
  4. Altered, defaced, illegible or removed Product serial numbers void this entire Warranty.

This Warranty does not apply to any non-PDJ branded hardware products or any software, even if packaged, bundled or sold with Pioneer DJ Products. Pioneer DJ provides the Warranty service only for Pioneer DJ products to the extent determined by law.

What is not covered by the Warranty
  1. Periodic check-ups, adjustments or maintenance as well as replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
  2. Failure and damage caused by accidents, movement, incorrect handling, negligence, modifications, use of non-PDJ parts, improper use, installation, de-installation, improper repair or remodeling.
  3. Failure and damage due to fire, earthquake, lightning strike, other natural disasters, pollution, salt damage, abnormal voltage, water damage, acts of war, public disturbances or any other cause beyond the control of PDJ.
  4. When the cause of the fault is due to a non-PDJ product.
  5. When the cause of the fault is due to use in poor conditions (oil, smoke, heat, dust, water, direct sunlight, incorrect ventilation etc.) including break down, color change, deterioration of appearance and shape, rust on metal parts.
  6. Distortion of speaker suspension system, change in sound pressure characteristics, etc. due to normal age deterioration.
  7. Products purchased from any other stores than PDJ and PDJ authorized stores.
Limitation of Liability

In no event will PDJ or its suppliers be liable to you for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort or otherwise, even if pdj or reseller has been advised of the possiblity of such damages. In no event will PDJ’s liability for breach of warranty exceed the purchase price of the product. in some jurisdictions, the limitation of liablity set forth in this paragraph is not allowed, and therefore these limitations may not apply to you.

Other exclusions
  • PDJ are not responsible for any damage to any equipment used in connection with the Product.
  • PDJ shall not be liable for any repair or replacement cost or any damage or loss directly or indirectly related to the malfunctioning of the Product, included but not limited to loss of business opportunity (loss of earnings) other than provided under this Warranty or under any applicable law.

What to do if your Product develops a fault
  • All Warranty repairs must be performed by PDJ or a PDJ Authorized Service Centre. Repairs performed by non-authorized repairers will not be reimbursed and if such repairs damage the Product, such damage will not be covered by this Warranty.
  • You can make a claim under this Warranty by taking the Product back to the store where you purchased it, or directly to a PDJ Authorized Service Centre. Please see PDJ Global Site for further details on Warranty repairs.
  • For installation and removal of installer specified items or for special works (e.g. routing of wires, installation of shelves), please ask a specialty shop.

  1. Log in to your account or register
  2. Click on [Your Name] to display [My Profile]
  3. Click on the [My Products] tab
  4. Click on the "download your warranty certificate" button at the bottom right corner of the product registration area for the applicable product
  5. Download the XPRS Warranty Extension Certificate (pdf)
