Find out which extra features you can use for a monthly fee

rekordbox ver. 6.0, our majorly updated professional DJ application, is now available via a new subscription structure. As well as a free option that's available to everyone, there are two paid levels – the first of which is the Core plan.

As well as everything that comes with the Free plan – including music management, Mobile Library Sync, Inflyte integration, support for Ableton Link, etc. – the Core plan gives you access to some additional features that might help you transform your sets.

You can try the Core plan free for 30 days and, if you like it, subscribe for an introductory price if you sign up by July 13, 2020. The special price will be valid until you cancel or upgrade to the Creative plan (you can do either at any time), or when another major rekordbox update is released. If you start a subscription on or after July 14, 2020, you'll be charged the full monthly price.

What's included in the rekordbox Core plan?

Everything from the Free plan

Be sure to read our guide to the rekordbox Free plan so you understand exactly what's included at no cost. You might be able to get everything you need from the application for free.

Activation on 2 devices

Download rekordbox and sign in on 2 different devices. If you like, you can have a master library with all your music stored on the main computer in your studio and keep a lighter library on the laptop you use for performances. That way, you won't take up valuable space on the smaller hard drive.

Performance mode

Use any compatible Pioneer DJ hardware to control Performance mode in rekordbox. You don't need a Hardware Unlock device.

DVS control

Scratch intuitively with the exclusive control vinyl (available separately) when you use a DVS-compatible mixer or interface. The DVS system offers high-quality sound and responsive performance that feels just like you're playing with analog records.

Manageable monthly cost

You can use the Core plan for a manageable fee each month. Anytime you want to take a break, you can cancel your subscription and use the Free plan instead. Then you can sign up for the Core or Creative plan at a later date.

Please note though, if you start a subscription during the introductory offer period (by July 13, 2020) then cancel that subscription, you'll be charged the full monthly price for the relevant plan if you re-subscribe on July 14, 2020 or at a later date.
