The AlphaTheta Certification Program (formerly Pioneer DJ Certification Program) is an initiative to certify products from third parties as compatible with our DJ products. AlphaTheta and the third parties share technical specifications and verify compatibility so customers can use them together with confidence.
The name of the program has been changed from "Pioneer DJ Certification Program" to "AlphaTheta Certification Program" effective March 14, 2024.
We have certified features of the products below under AlphaTheta Certification Program:
USB-HID (Human Interface Device) lets you control your DJ software directly from our DJ products. Just
connect your DJ gear to your computer via a USB cable and you will be able to access all the
features of your DJ software, no control disc required.
HID control is more accurate than traditional MIDI control and allows for more data to be shared between
the product and software (e.g. artwork, waveform data).
DVS (Digital Vinyl System) allows you to control your DJ software using a control disc containing a
timecode signal. Using a control vinyl DJs have a physical connection to their music, which makes this
feature very popular for scratching and turntablism.
Connect DJ decks or turntables to your DJ mixer and connect the mixer to your computer via USB to unlock
the DVS abilities of AlphaTheta Certified DJ software.
PRO DJ LINK is a network system where hardware and software products communicate with
each other, and is extended to allow certified products from licensed companies to access to our
professional DJ set-up via our specialized app, the PRO DJ LINK Bridge.
PRO DJ LINK network system enables you to synchronize lighting, video displays and pyrotechnics with
audio played on our professional DJ set-up.
